Important Guidelines

Please upload your submission once and ensure that all three required materials are included before submitting.

Your Submission Review package should contain:

• Your 8,000-word sample

• Your one-page synopsis

• Your query letter

Please combine all three pieces into one Microsoft Word document before uploading.

Please ensure that you upload the materials you would like reviewed, as revised versions cannot be accepted after submission.

Formatting Guidelines

Your sample should follow the formatting guidelines below:

• Maximum 8,000 words

• Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

• Arial, 12 pt font

• 1.5 line spacing

Your Submission Review

Your three submission materials will be reviewed together by our in-house development editor.

The review will provide focused, practical feedback on:

• how your opening is landing on first read

• voice, structure and narrative direction

• the key strengths of your submission

• areas for further development

• how effectively your synopsis and query position your story

• overall submission readiness

The purpose of the review is to help you understand what is working, what could be strengthened, and what you may want to refine before submitting to agents or publishers.

Please note that the Submission Review is a single written review of the materials provided. No further feedback or revised reviews will be provided after submission, so please ensure you upload the correct and complete version of your materials.

Before You Upload

Please make sure your submission is:

• Complete - all three required documents are included

• Combined into one Word document

• Within the 8,000-word sample limit

• Correctly formatted

• The version you would like reviewed

Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines may be returned for correction before they can be assessed.
